The scene was set in the somewhat eerie place of Staghorn, away from the civilization of Stag's Brew, simply out for a walk. Our great hero, Yuki, was sulking in his bad luck streak. Wearing his usual attire, a grey shirt with a collar, baggy jeans, and black sneakers. He could at least enjoy that his clothes were still remaining in good shape- Oh wait, he stepped in mud. Shoes messy now, pants with spots on them. His face simply drooped down, hair covering most his facial features, though his common green-brown eyes and cheerful smile weren't as attention grabbing today. Hands dug into his pockets, he was simply depressed. Nothing has gone his way lately, wherever he goes to find himself a social pariah, his pokemon team remaining pitiful, hell, his pokemon barely seem to like him. He had self-esteem, it was just hard to fight it for this long. He sighed to himself, "This walk is boring. But I may as well keep going at let the gods do their next hilarious idea to screw with me." His head perked up a little bit, to observe his area. Trees scattered everywhere, except for a small line that would constantly curve around, making a small trail. The trees went up high, to the point where he couldn't really determine how high up they went, and not just because he was looking down. Some even pierced the clouds above. A small river nearby, off of the trail and into a small opening. Grass was everywhere else, including the trail, and was only a couple inches high. Continuing to walk, Yuki finally stopped to the sound of rustling. Caught off guard, he looked around to see what this sound could be. [Looking for Spawn As for a specific request I'd say any of the baby pokemon would work(i.e: Happiny, Elekid, Magby, etc.)]

Jaz stepped lightly through the forest. She was on the hunt today for a new pokemon, the last member of her team that would make her brother proud. The girl grimaced and wiped the sweat off her brow. It was a hot and muggy day today, not a good day for swamp exploration.
Though she walked silently, Jazmin her a rustling up ahead. She perked up her head and looked around. The source of the sound was somewhere in the front. Skittles the Snivy nodded her approval as they continued through the wilderness. Only Kit was with her right now; all of her other pokemon weren't exactly suited for this kind of walk.
The girl pushed her way out of the bushes and froze. There was, instead of a pokemon, a guy in the midst of a trail. He had turned around to face her. "Umm, I didn't exactly expect to find anyone else out here. But still, I guys greetings are in order. Hi, my name is Jazmin and this," she pointed to the Snivy on her shoulder, "is Kit. It's cool to see that I'm not the only person out for a stroll in this lovely swamp!"

The disturbance turned out to be nothing but a mere trainer. A girl around his age, around his height as well. He tried to act cool, keeping a straight posture and calm look, as if he knew that it was a trainer there. A tiny smile to his face as he looked from her to her pokemon, and back to the trainer. "Nice to meet you and your pokemon as well, I'm Yuki Froto." He couldn't help but let his expression droop from it's peppiness as she referred to the greatness of being in a dark, eerie swamp. Looking down to his ruined pants. "Well I wouldn't really use great to describe the day..." He tried to push past the subject though, "So what are you doing out here?"

"Hello Yuki!" Jazmin said cheerily. There was no way some dreary old swamp was going to ruin her lovely day out and about. She failed to pick up on Yuki's lack of enthusiasm about the subject. "This swamp isn't horrible! I mean, look at the trees around us, they're all so old. Just think about it, hundreds of years of growing has led us to witness them and all of their history. This swamp, though it may not look like much, is so delicate and balanced. Change just one thing and everything that lives here dies," Jazmin smiled. "I'm getting off on a tangant, aren't I? Well, I do apologize for that, don't take me for some eco-freak or something. This swamp is doing a number on my hair," She lifted up a droopy curl and pointed to it. "Anyway, I'm out here to... Well, you see, I don't exactly know why I'm here. Kit wanted to go, it was her idea." The Snivy snuffed, denying the allegations. "It's true Kit, don't deny it! Well, I just came out here for the adventure, 'ya know, to meet a wild pokemon or maybe just go for a stroll. So, why are you here?"

Yuki was rather surprised at how talkative the girl was, especially with someone she had just met! Of course, he had no problem with this. After his bad luck streak he needed someone to talk to. He just remained quiet with a small smile, acting attentive. He shifted his sight to her hair and her pokemon when she mentioned it. Finally she asked about him, though this was another thing he wasn't so positive about. His smile fading slightly, he said, looking around to the different trees, "Well, I just felt like getting away from all the commotion of life, it's just been straight bad luck for me... Thought if I go out here I can just pass it off like I always do." Yuki realized he wasn't taking this conversation in to a delightful step, turning back to her and smiling, "But don't worry about me. So is that... Uh, Kip was it? Your only pokemon?" He was hoping this would shift the conversation to a point where he wouldn't scare off another person.

Kit snuffed at the mispronunciation of her name. Jazmin looked at her with a warning as to not be rude to this guy. She turned back to Yuki, "Well, you've already met Kit, or Skittles, you can call her either. Speaking of which..." Jaz fished out a bright red bag from her pocket and handed it up to her Snivy. Kit, with another glare in Yuki's direction, dug in and pulled out a little, orange candy which she immediately ate. Jazmin noticed Yuki's desire to change the subject and happily oblidged. "Well, Kit's not the only one. I have five total: Kit, Cobalt, Cal, Pan, and Dekka," She realized too late that she had just listed off meaningless names. Still, he probably didn't want to listen to what kinds of pokemon she had acquired over the years. "So how about you? Do you have any pokemon?"

He listened to her list off the random team of people, not familiar with a single one of there names. He didn't really care though. A small bit of disturbance came to the pokemon's glare at Yuki, the trainer making this reaction visible with his facial expression. He quickly focused off of this, as it was merely a pokemon, and Jazmin asked a question to him. This was always a question that made him fluster, as he never actually had something in terms of a 'team' that he could feel proud to say was his. But he still mustered the courage to grab the pokeball from his belt, and say, "I do have one guy." Opening the pokeball, his majestic Feebas presented itself. The creature was confused, always startled from this. The water pokemon flopped around, and Yuki pathetically stared at him, expect some sort of mockery from this.
"I guess he's not much..." He said, and watched the pokemon began to flail off in a direction. Soon he'd realize he was attempting to get into the lake, and would take a rather larger leap into the lake, and swim around a little as he was no a bit more in control of his body.

"A Feebas, huh? They are quite rare you know," Jazmin stated as she watched the fish flop around. She assumed that in the water, it would be a bit more graceful... Yuki did look a tad embarassed at this though. "Hey, cheer up! Feebas evolve into Milotic, right? And they're really beautiful, not to mention strong." Kit leaped down from Jazmin's shoulder and walked over to the foreign fish that she had never seen before, bag of Skittles still in hand. The Snivy inspected the creature before her, tilting her head this way and that. It was true that she was unfarmiliar with the species but it really didn't look like all that much.
The Feebas leaped away from the Snivy though, and into the lake. It seemed to be much happier there. Still, there was no telling what other kinds of creatures lurked in such a murky place and the Feebas might just look like a tasty snack to another hungry pokemon. Kit had followed the fish to the water's edge but stopped short. She was not under any circumstances, going to get wet with this nasty lake water. "See, he's stronger than he looks! That Feebas is a good swimmer, told you they weren't all that bad!"
