Woodruff Island

Woodruff is the western twin and second of the "Blackfly Islands". Where as its sister, is bleak and dreary, Woodruff is lush. Its heavily forested with misty evergreens, and there's often a soupy fog in the early mornings. The dark forest is not nearly as inviting as the old trees of Staghorn, however. The canopy is so thick that sunlight strangles in the branches, and the scent of pine overwhelms those with sensitive noses. The same stone statues of Wormwood sit throughout Woodruff, clustered mostly around a small lighthouse that shines nothing but blacklight.

The town is very small but considerably friendlier then its sister. Home to the Shadow Badge.
