[OOC @ Spawners: just have fun with the Pokemon, I rather random then specified. Who knows? I need RP practice... hope below is enough]
----------------------------
Perhaps for most Travelers, journeying in the swamp at night hours would be the worst... Yet, a young not-quite teen traversed these parts, finding himself quite at home. He did not mind the freezing rain running through his natural semi-messy-spiky black with purple-dyed streaked hair, nor that his black clothes were soaked. Sango liked the coolness of the night, and the icy touch of the wind against his skin when it blew, the murky ground he decided beforehand to enter the swamp barefoot as the muck clinging to his shoes would make them seem heavier. He rather preferred the feeling of the murky wet swamp muck on his feet. Beside him on one side; his right traveled his Umbreon, Eclipse whom was right at home in the darkness of the swamp not in the least bit minding the rain, his other Eeveelution that generally companied him wherever he traveled decided to stay dry for the time being. The twosome wandered, in no particular direction, looking for various Pokemon. Sango knew he needed more of his own Pokemon that were not stolen if he was ever to join any actual tournaments or challenge gyms. He'd play fair in those, using his legit Pokemon. It did not truly matter which Pokemon first showed itself to him, he liked all types of Pokemon though had a preference for Ghost- and Dark-types but the others were just as interesting to him. Sango did not rely soly on his sight, rather he used his other senses being Hearing and Scent, he could make out shapes in the swamp just enough to tell where he was going despite still wearing his purple-rimmed shades. His Umbreon helped, Eclipse listened for even the faintest Pokemon sound, looking in the direction the newest noise came while his ears occasionally twitched in various directions for other noises. He did not mind the muck clinging to the 'fur' on his paws, in fact it could help later during a battle even if not by much. At least, that is what Eclipse thought.
Suddenly, Eclipse seemed to detect something thus growled lowly, waiting for whatever it was to show itself. Sango watching his Umbreon carefully also waited...

This specific Sneasel was not the kind that preferred battling. When she heard the pokemon's growl though, she knew it'd have to reveal herself. Walking slowly from her cover behind a cozy tree, the pokemon stood in plain sight of the two. She stared for a while, wondering what to do. Just because she didn't like battling, was nowhere near close to the idea that she had no experience. Before the pokemon, nor the trainer could blink, the Sneasel would dash at the Umbreon in the blink of an eye, using Quick Attack. The sharp claw pokemon aimed to give a full body tackle to the Umbreon. Hopefully, this would be enough to scare the duo away. That nap was quite enjoyable!

ooc: sorry if post is shortish, sometimes some are... doing something a little bit different from the usual normal encounters... ----------------------------
"Bree?" (Why?) The Umbreon managed to say while the Sneasel was charging, Eclipse did not know if this Sneasel would stop her attack short or not, he didn't quite feel like battling tonight. Suddenly the black dog sneezed then fell over on his side into the muck. Eclipse attempted to get back up on his paws but found that rather difficult, after the third attempt he stopped trying and just stared in the direction of the Sneasel.
Sango slid his shades up from his eyes as he knelt down to open his suitcase and searched something up, or attempted to. He knew this Umbreon hated Pokeballs and he wasn't about to stress out his friend, also Eclipse wouldn't let any humans or human things with their scent; even his current trainer's, touch him. This Umbreon refused to take things like Potions. Sango just shook his head slightly upon hearing his partner sneeze again, then looked in the direction of the two Pokemon; it was up to them. He was out of Berries, the only thing pretty much that Eclipse would take.
Eclipse kept staring, looking over the Sneasel before his ears drooped as he remembered his own past, this wasn't the first time he got stuck somewhere though he didn't like these types of situations... "Um..Eon" (Beaut-iful) The dog whispered as he waited for something... ----------- ooc: it's not the Sneasel (female), it's something in the swamp that causes this Umbreon (male) to sneeze.

The Sneasel joyously watched the foe's suffering. Perhaps it'd learn a lesson now, and watch where it treads! She wasn't done yet, she was in the mood to cause some hell now. A nap is the one thing this girl wouldn't let be interrupted. Eyes locked onto Sango, and immediately pulled into a dash, aiming to have her claws shred through the skin and some of the muscles of his shin. The Umbreon seemed stabilized, once the human learned, she'd happily continue her slumber. She gave a simple battle cry, ignoring any protests the fellow dark type pokemon said.

A purple-like feline popped out of it's Pokeball, the Espeon stood in the path of the Sneasel. Solarr was not happy getting soaked by the rain, the Espeon lunged herself at the foe angrily in an attempt to knock her over while scratching her. "Esspeeee" (Not tonight) she growled
Eclipse the Umbreon watched from his position, and while the Sneasel was distracted slowly wriggled free of the muck's grasp, he went over to sit near his current trainer... "EeeeeOonn" (Take Care) the Umbreon warned his partner who flicked her tail in acknowledgement.
------ ooc: Sango's already knelt down so on both his knees at the moment. And these two eeveelutions tend to help each other out...

The path of the new pokemon disrupted Sneasel's path, and she took the tackle head on as she was brought down to the ground. She took a few scratches, red marks showing up all over her chest. This kind of treatment she would not stand for very long. While still taking the attack, she deeply inhaled, cheeks puffing out. Then a powerful gust shot out of her mouth, and if the Espeon didn't stop it's constant scratching and moved itself of the body of the Sneasel, would be blown back a few feet by her Icy Wind attack.

ooc: yea, these two switched out... and his level doesn't matter... short post. oh well... ------ The Espeon jumped backwards off of the Sneasel, landing not far off her tail flicked agitatedly.
The Umbreon steps up infront of Solarr confidently, giving the Sneasel a dark, arresting look [Mean Look]. Eclipse then quickly attempts a Confuse Ray, his eyes and markings starting to glow brighter...
----- ooc: yes cats can jump backwards...

The Sneasel showed apathy at the two's care and teamwork with each other. The Mean Look met her straight in the eye, and it failed to phase her very well, as she didn't plan on running in the first place. Instead, she already began a dash at the Umbreon, deciding to finish it with this next attack. Her claw rose above her head mid-dash. By the time the Umbreon attempted to use Confuse Ray, the claws of the pokemon would already be coming down upon the dark type pokemon.

ooc: running out of RP for here, sorry post is short...
---------------- The Umbreon, although not speedy as its foe stood its ground as the Sneasel tackled him.
While the two eeveelutions kept the Sneasel occupied, Sango waiting for just the right moment lobbed a Dusk Ball at the wild Pokemon...
------------ ooc: Dusk Ball
it is Night time still in this thread so...

The Sneasel caught off guard by the dusk ball, attention currently averted from the trainer. She screamed a cry of protest before getting sucked into the ball with a flash of light. The ball began to shake. One shake, no signs of escape. Two, still appearing sturdy. Three, then the Sneasel finally mustered her energy. With enough retaliation she broke out of the ball. Only taking one tackle, she was more than capable of fighting her way out of a pokeball, even if it was a little powered up. She stood a distance from all three foes, eyes carefully watching. She wouldn't fall for that again.

ooc: not just a tackle if the Espeon used it's Claws then as well... (umbreon attacks in lists don't seem like much... just... ...could be better... much...) ----------
The Umbreon charges to the Sneasel's left side and quickly switching directions to her opposite side jumps, attempting to kick her with one of its legs. [Feint Attack] Sure, Eclipse knew the attack should it have hit its target wouldn't do much damage due to the typing, but he didn't mind so long as he got to train...
Sango only slightly smiled at the Sneasel when it broke out of the Dusk Ball, this time he prepared himself should the black bipedal feline decide to target him next.

The surprisingly fast attack caught Sneasel before she could move out of the way. This one was a only a tiny irritant as it hit her shoulder. Then again, attacks were beginning to build up with the damage, so she decided to get tougher and see if she could get them to fall quicker. Immediately spinning to face the Umbreon, she used a Quick Attack, aiming with her knee to hit the chest of the dark feline-like pokemon.
